Clinical Therapist I: Full-time or Part-time

Focused Solutions, LLC, is in search of a provisionally licensed mental health Professional Counselor (LGPC) for our Managed Behavioral Health Practice.

About Us: 

Focused Solutions, LLC is a privately owned and operated private practice, serving Maryland, Washington D.C., Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee and Kentucky. We provide high-quality mental health services and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) counseling through contracts with multiple Employee Assistance Programs and Behavioral Health Organizations. Our approach centers on client care, ensuring compassionate, effective services for individuals, families and organizations.  

Hours/Schedule:

  • Full-time or part-time (W-2) positions available 

  • Flexible hours, self-determined 

  • Must include at least one 4-hour evening or weekend block 

  • Available for at least one in-office day each week.  

Key Responsibilities 

  • Provide clinical psychotherapy/EAP sessions, building a caseload dependent on employment status of 15-20 or 27-30 clients per week.  

  • Conduct mental health counseling, substance abuse assessment/referral and EAP services. 

  • Maintain accurate case records per state and ethical standards. 

  • Report child abuse, elder abuse and/or violence as required by ethics and law. 

  • Maintain clinical licenses in dedicated states/district. 

  • Keep current with CEUs. 

  • Participate in practice meetings and clinical meetings. 

  • Facilitate therapeutic or educational groups as appropriate. 

  • Promote Focused Solutions’ services. 

  • Other duties as needed. 

Qualifications: 

  • Must be a licensed LGPC in the state of Maryland 

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively. 

  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft 365 Office and DocuSign. 

  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills. 

  • Excellent organizational skills. 

  • Able to work closely with administrative staff. 

  • Ability to lift up to 15 lbs.
