LCPCM has been monitoring the CDC recommendations about COVID-19. In light of the information provided, we have decided to cancel our Spring conference. We will offer refunds to people who are registered, in the original form of payment. This was not an easy decision to make, but we want to protect the health and safety of our members.
All trainings currently being offered by LCPCM have moved to an online format, until otherwise indicated. If you are registered for the supervision training this weekend, please check your email for instructions.
Attached is notification from the Secretary of the Maryland Department of Health that explains some of the expanded and temporary changes to teletherapy regulations. LCPCM is staying involved in current legislative changes that might allow a temporary suspension of certain telehealth rules during emergencies. Please remember that the most important thing we can do in difficult situations is take care of ourselves. We realize the level of stress that comes along with our jobs, and the impact can be great. Please find ways to practice self-care- call a friend, exercise, eat balanced meals, get adequate sleep, do things that you enjoy (you know the drill!).
